ARSENE WENGER OF ARSENAL, COMES TO NIGERIA

Arsenal FC’s manager, Arsene
Wenger has shown that he’s a
big fan of Nigerian football.

Wenger, who is currently in
South Africa working as a TV
commentator for a french
station reviewed the super
eagles ’ performance at the
on-going world cup as he
disclosed “I know much about
Nigerian football.

The team
was not bad but they missed
or lacked the killing edge that
makes them efficient.

They
had a good game against
South Korea, but were
unlucky”.

He has therefore taken the
responsibility on himself to
help restructure the Nigerian
football when he agreed to
embark on a 7 days visit to
Nigeria so as to educate local
coaches on coaching skills and
also how to scout.

He however, thanked the Arsenal FC fans in Nigeria; for their efforts towards this invitation.

WHAT A MAN CAN DO, A WOMAN CAN DO IT EVEN BETTER........THE STORY OF A FEMALE KEKE MAR'WA DRIVER.

Omoyeni Agbokere is a 35-
year-old widow who
has taken up a task most
women would frown at
as a means of survival.
'First lady' is what she is
fondly called by her
colleagues at the motor park,
a name which she
inscribes on the back of her
tricycle (Keke Marwa).
Driving a tricycle is not what
she ever dreamt of
as a career, but her husband's
death forced her to
look for a means of survival.
"My husband died two years
ago," she said. "
Before he died, I used to
engage in some petty
trading because he was the
one taking care of
most of the family's needs.
When he died, I had
to look for a better business
to sustain me and
my family."
The mother of two says she
has not regretted
her decision because she
makes enough to take
care of her family.
"I have two children, a boy of
12 and a girl of
eight. This Keke Marwa
business, I see it as
something I can use to help
my family because it
is bringing a daily income. The
money I make
every day depends on how
much I work for the
day. I make between N2,000
and N3,000
everyday.

An inspirational step to all other lazy women.

NIGERIAN POLICEMEN BEAT A FEMALE UNDERGRADUATE TO COMA.

When Abigail Ige, an HND II
student of the Department of
Microbiology, Federal
Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti, left her
hostel on Monday for Fayose
Market on Ajilosun Road in
the Ekiti State capital to buy
fingerlings to be used for her
project, she felt there was
nothing to fear because her
mission was a genuine one.
It was gathered that
at the market, a policeman
accosted her and demanded
to know the contents of Ige's
bag. According to
eyewitnesses' accounts, while
Ige saw nothing wrong in the
policeman's demand, his
insistence that the search
would be conducted at a
nearby police station
infuriated the student.
This was the beginning of
trouble for Ige, who is now in
excruciating pain at the
University Teaching Hospital,
Ado-Ekiti.
She said, "I went to Fayose
Market to buy some
fingerlings for my project. As I
was coming back, a policeman
met me and said he wanted to
search my hand bag. I told
him to empty the contents of
the bag right there in the
market because I am aware of
their tricks.
"He said 'no' and snatched the
bag from me and took it to
their station.

After I finished
buying other things I needed, I
went to the station, since it is
not far from where he met
me. As I got there, he said
that he would deal with me
because I refused to allow him
to search my bag in the
market. He asked me to enter
the cell and I refused, because
I knew I had not committed
any offence.
"Thereafter, two policemen
and two policewomen came
out and started beating me.
When I became tired, they
now dragged me inside the
cell. The first policeman,
Femi, came inside the cell
with a plank and hit me on the
head four times. A
policewoman came inside the
cell and pleaded that they
should leave me but they
refused. I later passed out.
But before then, they said that
if I died, nothing would
happen."
The woman, who sold
fingerlings to Ige, saw what
she went through in the hands
of the police and quickly
alerted the polytechnic.

The Rector of the Polytechnic,
Mrs. Taiwo Akande, in an
interview with journalists said
that the case had been
reported to the police
authorities, adding that it took
time before the school
authorities prevailed on the
students not to invade the
police station.
She, however, said that how
the police handled the case
would determine the next step
the school would take.
The Commissioner of Health,
Dr. Femi Thomas, has visited
the student at the hospital to
know how she was responding
to treatment.

A lawmaker representing
Ikere II at the state House of
Assembly, Mr. Bolu
Akomolafe, who also visited
the student, said that the
House would summon the
Commissioner of Police, Ekiti
State Command, Mr. Katso
Kakwe, to the House on the
matter.
Akomolafe said the matter
was of public importance and
it would be given priority
when the House reconvenes
on Wednesday (today).
The Ekiti State Police Public
Relations Officer, Mr. Jimoh
Mohammed, said that the command was
already investigating the
matter.

Yinka Ayefele CONFRONTPROPHETESS WHO USED HISSPINAL CORD FOR SPIRITUALPOWER, FAME AND WEALTH.

Oluwatimilehin a.k.a Erelu
Agbaye of the Christ Apostolic
Church(CAC) Odo-ona Ibadan,
Oyo state had a surprise guest
when the ace musician Yinka
Ayefele stormed the premises
of the church. The musician’s
intention was to confront the
woman, when he was told that
Erelu Agbaye will be the guest
speaker at the revival. Erelu
Agbaye had earlier claimed
that she had assisted the
musician to use his spinal cord
for spiritual powers in order
to acquire fame and wealth in
the music industry. This was
what led the musician to the
church premise before the
revival was planned to start in
order to confront Erelu
Agbaye but the church pastors
did not allow the musician to
see the Prophetess. He was
eventually asked him to wait
until the end of the service
but to the surprise of all
present including Yinka
Ayefele, Erelu Agbaye was no
where to be seen at the end
of the programme.
The musician made it clear
again that his intention was to
confirm and have the
prophetess ’ side of the story
that she helped the musician
use his spinal cord for spiritual
powers in order to acquire
fame and wealth in the music
industry. The musician who
made his statement in anger
said, he had never met the
woman in his life . In his
statement, “I want her to
come out straight that the
only way she can be forgiven”
as a pastor in the church tried
to persuade the musician to
take it easy and allow peace
to reign -
Questionmarkmag.com was
also informed by a witness
that Erelu Agbaye on sighting
Yinka and a pressmen from a
newspaper house left the
pulpit tactically and no one
could tell of her whereabout
until Yinka left.

GLOBACOM KICKED OUT OF GHANA!

Nigeria – Mike Adenuga’s
Telecommunication,
Globacom is currently
getting unpleasant
treatment in Ghana as
things are not looking rosy
for the newly set up
telecommunication. The
firm who began
operations in Ghana in
December 2009 has been
facing willful damage and
sabotage of her
advertisement structures
like billboards, light boxes
and others as well as
restrictions on erection of
masts. Its quite obvious
that the reason for the
vandalization is one-fold;
to make Globacom quit.
And the unanswered
question is; who are those
behind this unmitigated
vandalization?.
The speculations around is
that, some Telecom
operators with less
subscribers in Ghana must
have been scared of losing
them out to the newly set
up telecoms, Globacom.

This act of vandalization
has intensified, as it has
been confirmed that the
saboteurs gets kickback
for their actions. As a
result of these, Glo had
sensed that the sabotage
is a foretaste of what was
to come, and the best
decision is to withdraw her
operation in Ghana when
one of her senior officials
disclosed “the frustrations
are getting out of control.
We have considered
pulling out ”.
Glo’s exit might be a big
loss both ways to the
country and Wale
Adenuga as Globacom
already has set up offices
around the country and
some of these are fully
furnished. It would not be
in the interest of Glo to
pull out of Ghana at this
stage. So far, Glo had
pumped millions of dollar
into Ghana ’s local football
league, which is tagged
“ Glo premier league”, Glo
then followed it up with
sponsoring and supporting
Ghana national team as
well as the Ghana national
supporters union. It was
revealed that the
Ghanaian government had
never received such level
of support from any of the
existing telecom
operators.
So far, these were some
of the problems faced by
Globacom Ghana; The
national communication
authority ’s encroachment
on the frequency
allocated to Glo, The
sabotage of Globacom’s
billboards, light boxes,
lamp post signs geared
towards launching of the
company ’s full operation.
As at February 2010, more
than 12 light boxes placed
around the airport traffic
light median were
destroyed. Last month,
more than 14 light boxes
were destroyed in accra.
The Ghanaian government
had done nothing to
protect the telecoms from
these unlawful acts.
The late approval of the
GSM licence to be
awarded to Glo by the
national communications
authority (NCA).
The National
environmental protection
agency placed ban on the
erection of mast in some
major areas, which
affected Glo adversely
since Glo is the only newly
set up telecom operator in
the country.
Globacom Ghana, the
sixth telecom in the
country is competing with
other telecom operators
such as MTN, Tigo,
Vodafone, Zain and
Kasapa (arranged based
on the number of
subscribers). None of the
old telecom operators
experienced such kind of
Glo-like problems.

UPDATE ON NIGERIA VS S.KOREA: Kanu gets 1st team start.

Nigeria captain Nwankwo
Kanu will get his first start for
Nigeria at the 2010 World Cup

Is this the Magical Formation?

J.TERRY APPOLOGIES TO COACH AND TEAM MATES

Terry caused a huge stir in the England camp when he took to a press conference on Sunday to criticise Capello's decision not to select Joe Cole , telling reporters the players would take things into their own hands in a France-style mutiny if Capello didn't adhere to their views in a team meeting to follow. Capello hit back on Monday , describing former skipper Terry's actions as a "big mistake''. As support from his team-mates has failed to materialise, Terry has been forced to backtrack on his comments and give Capello his full backing. Terry contacted the Daily Mail to publicly apologise and said he wanted to put the matter behind him and his team-mates as they prepare for Wednesday's make-or-break clash with Slovenia. "I went into yesterday's press conference with the intention of being honest,'' Terry said. "I was asked a question about Joe Cole and maybe I went too far. But it was never my intention to upset the manager or the players and if I did upset anyone, I apologise. I have told the manager he has my total support and I would like to stress that I don't believe I have been a disruptive influence in the camp. "I would now like to put this episode behind me and concentrate on trying to win what is a massive game for England. All I was trying to do was to say how important it is to me to try to win the World Cup. I just hope people at least appreciate that I have taken the time to call you and have asked you to report what I have to say in response.'' In his press conference, Terry had openly challenged Capello, saying: "If it upsets him then I'm on the verge of just saying, 'So what, I'm here to win it for England'.''

HOPE IT WILL NOT STOP CAPELLO FROM GIVING THE CAPTAINCY BAND BACK TO TERRY IN FUTURE?

I COULD NOT SLEEP FOR WHAT I DID NIGERIANS..........S.KAITA

An apologetic Nigeria
midfielder Sani Kaita has
given more details leading to
the incident that got him to
see red and invariably cost the
Super Eagles three precious
points at the World Cup.
Kaita was sent off in the 33rd
minute in his team ’s surprise
2-1 loss to Greece in a Group
B match on Thursday after he
appeared to lunge at Vasileios
Torosidis with a foot in a
touchline scuffle.
The sending off proved to be
the turning point of the game
as Greece soon drew level
before grabbing a winner for
their first-ever World Cup
victory.
“The guy (the Greece player)
hit the ball on my body
(stomach) and abused me,
saying some very unprintable
things. That really got me
very angry. That is why I
reacted like that to him. But
that was a big mistake by me
and I will remember for a long
time, ” Kaita said.
“I cannot stop apologising to
all Nigerians for making this
costly mistake. I am very sorry
and I pray that we win our
next game (against South
Korea) to qualify for the next
round, where I hope to
redeem my image with a good
performance if I ’m picked,” he
added.
“I couldn’t sleep all night
thinking about what my action
has cost my country, but I
hope that Insa Allah (by the
grace of God) we will win our
next game and thereafter I
promise to put my life down
on the pitch to ensure we go
very far in this competition. ”
The former Sparta Rotterdam
ace therefore called on
Nigerians not to give up on
the Eagles, but rather support
the team for Tuesday ’s match
against South Korea in
Durban.
“The mood in camp is really
high. They have accepted my
apology and they are now
desperate to win our next
game for me so that we could
move to the second round of
the competition, ” he offered.
“We still need the support and
prayers of Nigerians for us to
get the qualification ticket to
the next round. Nigerians
would see a different Sani
Kaita Insa Allah when we
qualify.
“And I promise that what
happened yesterday will never
happen again.

What do you think about his appology?
