SPORTS: Obagoal Scores, Yobo gets injured.

Obafemi Martins finally opened his account in the Russian League, converting a penalty for the final goal of the match as Rubin Kazan won 3-0 at home to Amkar Perm. International skipper Joseph Yobo started for Turkish giants Fenerbahce, but was forced off just under the hour with what appeared to be a hamstring strain. Another debutant Obinna Nsofor was dangerous for all of his 90 minute appearance but could do little to stop John Mikel Obi's Chelsea running away with a 3-1 win. There was also a winning goal for Babajide Collins. The striker, on loan from Danish club FC Midtjylland, scored the second of two 90th minute goals which helped Alania Vladikavkaz complete a last minute fightback to win 2-1. Carlos Eduardo scored twice for Rubin before Martins converted his penalty with six minutes to play. In Turkey, Yobo started for his new club, and showed plenty of composure as he organised the back four. However, the Nigeria captain pulled up with a hamstring just shy of the our mark, and was substituted. Five minutes later, Fenerbahce were behind. Paraguay international Jonathan Santana turned Yobo's replacement Selcuk Sahin to chip over the keeper. It was not long before they were back, this time, Australian international James Troisi tapping home after the defence went walkabout again. Nsofor's debut in the English Premier League could not have been harder, coming against champions Chelsea. But the Nigerian looked by far the most dangerous player on both sides in the early stages. But he failed to make his opportunities count on two occasions in the first half, before Chelsea struck. Obinna also set up Fredrick Piquionne for a glaring miss at 3-1.
