Arsenal FC’s manager, Arsene
Wenger has shown that he’s a
big fan of Nigerian football.
Wenger, who is currently in
South Africa working as a TV
commentator for a french
station reviewed the super
eagles ’ performance at the
on-going world cup as he
disclosed “I know much about
Nigerian football.
The team
was not bad but they missed
or lacked the killing edge that
makes them efficient.
They
had a good game against
South Korea, but were
unlucky”.
He has therefore taken the
responsibility on himself to
help restructure the Nigerian
football when he agreed to
embark on a 7 days visit to
Nigeria so as to educate local
coaches on coaching skills and
also how to scout.
He however, thanked the Arsenal FC fans in Nigeria; for their efforts towards this invitation.
